Being beaten. Threatened. Hate crime.

If someone is hitting, threatening, or harassing you because of who you are — that's a crime. You have the right to protection.
Galop is the only specialist line for LGBTQ+ people in the UK. Domestic abuse, hate crime, sexual violence, conversion therapy. Free, confidential.

Sexual assault. Rape.

It's not your fault. It doesn't matter who you are, where you were, what you were doing. You'll be helped.
Don't wash or change clothes if you can — this preserves evidence. Go to your nearest A&E or Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC). You don't have to go to the police if you don't want to — SARC will help regardless.

Kicked out. Nowhere to sleep tonight.

If you have nowhere to sleep tonight:

I've been outed. My family found out.

If you've been outed and you're scared — you're in the UK. It's not a crime here. No one will arrest you. But we understand the fear is real.
If your family is threatening you — that's domestic abuse. Galop will help. If you're an asylum seeker and worried this affects your case — on the contrary, it can be evidence. Talk to a lawyer: Rainbow Migration.

Deportation. Asylum refused.

A refusal is not the end. There's an appeal. There are organisations that will help.
You can appeal to the First-tier Tribunal. You can gather more evidence. Do not sign voluntary return before speaking to a lawyer. Right to Remain toolkit — step-by-step guide.

Anxiety, panic, can't breathe.

This is a panic attack. It will pass. You're not dying. Try this:
4-7-8: Breathe in through your nose for 4 counts. Hold for 7. Exhale through your mouth for 8. Repeat 4 times.

5-4-3-2-1: Name 5 things you see, 4 you hear, 3 you can touch, 2 you can smell, 1 you can taste.
If panic attacks keep happening — your GP can refer you to a specialist for free. Or self-refer: NHS Talking Therapies.

Drugs or alcohol — can't stop.

It's not weakness. Addiction is an illness. And it's treated for free.
Chemsex — if you're using substances during sex and can't stop — London Friend and Terrence Higgins Trust specialise in this. Anonymous, no judgement.

All numbers are free. None will appear on your phone bill. No one will ask your name, documents, or immigration status.
